Projects
I make broken things lean again. I make confusing things usable. I make slow things fast. And most importantly, I make it all accessible.
With 15+ years of putting out fires on the web, if you’re looking for a dev to either dive into an unruly codebase or breathe life into something brand new, I’d love to hear from you.
Projects I’ve worked on…
Documentation & Writing Projects
Memberlite Documentation
Contributor – Developer Documentation
Introduced the docs-as-code philosophy and implemented theme documentation that is managed in version control. It’s open source, developer-focused, and a system that will evolve alongside the theme.
Internal Documentation Projects
Engineering & Process Documentation
Created and maintained internal documentation for development workflows, accessibility standards, and deployment processes at several organizations. Focused on clarity, structure, and long-term maintainability using tools such as Confluence, Markdown, and internal Git repositories.
(Due to confidentiality, samples are not publicly available.)
WordPress Accessibility Handbook
Contributor – Open Source Documentation
Wrote and maintained sections of the WordPress Accessibility Handbook focusing on best practices for inclusive web development. Collaborated with WordPress contributors using GitHub and Confluence-style workflows to improve clarity and developer adoption.
The A11y Project
Contributor – Technical Writing
Authored and edited accessibility resources for The A11y Project, a community-driven resource focused on making digital accessibility easier to understand. Articles focused on translating WCAG standards into practical, actionable guidance for developers and designers.
10up Engineering Best Practices
Contributor – Developer Documentation (GitHub)
Contributed to 10up’s Engineering Best Practices, a public repository outlining coding standards and workflows for professional WordPress development. Focused on improving clarity and consistency in guidelines covering PHP, JavaScript, and accessibility standards.
